What does the initial visit consist of?

Most initial visits consist of a routine check-up including digital pictures and x-rays along with a professional cleaning. We also address emergency concerns as soon as possible.

What are some general guidelines to follow after an appointment?

General guidelines would be to follow up every 6 months for cleanings and also set up appointments for any other work that is needed to keep your mouth healthy. Some General Advice!!! Follow dentists instructions to keep your mouth clean and healthy.

Will you take me as a patient even though I do not have dental insurance?

Yes we do accept patients who do not carry any form of dental insurance.

Do you offer dental plans?

We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. We also accept care credit and can help patients apply for care credit if they wish.

Why is visiting the dentist so important?

The primary reason is to keep your teeth in excellent health.The dentist has specialized equipment which is designed to remove plaque and calculus while cleaning all around your teeth.

How can I take care of my teeth in between dental checkups?

Following dentists instructions for your oral health at home. Some instructions would be brushing flossing and sometimes may include mouth rinses.

At what age should I start taking my child to see the dentist?

It is a good idea to start your child visiting the dentist around 2 or 3 years. It is also a good idea to bring children to adult or older siblings visits and watch so they are less frightened when it is their turn.

How often should I see the dentist?

It is recommended to visit the dentist every 6 months unless otherwise instructed by your dentist.

How often should I brush my teeth?

It is recommended to brush your teeth at least 2 times a day for at least 2 minutes especially at bedtime.

If I have braces, do I still need dental checkups every six months?

It is especially important to have your 6 month checkups when you have braces because food gets stuck in the brackets and wires which is hard for people to clean. your orthodontist may even recommend to have checkups every 3 months depending on your personal hygiene habits.

Do you offer IV sedation? Gas?

We offer both, IV and Nitrous sedation.
